I loved reading this book to my kids. They were so curious to know what would happen next, which kept them fully engaged throughout the story. The writing truly transported us to Willow Brook, we could almost smell the pumpkins and fresh apples!
The story is beautifully narrated and gently teaches children how to face their fears. At the same time, it encourages compassionate bravery and empathy in a way that young readers can easily understand. A wonderful book to read with children.
